Our products have long been used in the manufacture of cables, power and wires.
Insulating material for cables in electric cars
In electric cars, the electrical power to be transmitted is much higher than in an ordinary low-voltage
electrical installation. Other requirements must be met for a high-voltage electrical installation:
Due to the limited installation space, high requirements are placed on the insulation material, the
electromagnetic shielding as well as the material thickness. TELESFOR is able to meet these
requirements.
Tapes for round and profile wire production
Cut strips of polyester film (e.g. Mylar A, Hostaphan,) and Nomex in various widths are supplied.
Deliveries are made on disc or cross spools.
Insulation systems for battery harnesses
TELESFOR manufactures insulation systems for the battery and cable industry from high-quality
insulation materials, taking into account electromagnetic shielding and the need for optimum heat
dissipation. In this context, emphasis is also placed on process-optimised further processing of the
products.
Aluminium and polyester composite films for shielding
Electronic circuits or circuit components are subjected to electric fields. The resulting voltages have a
destructive effect on such components and can lead to malfunctions.
To avoid this, the electrical cable is shielded by a closed metal sheath. Electrostatic shielding works
on the principle of induction and is achieved in cables by means of a braided or continuous metal foil,
which is usually insulated with PET film.
Shielding and mechanical protection are therefore provided in a single operation. There are different
compositions of composite films with different material thicknesses. The composition depends on
the shielding requirements.
Polypropylene films for the cable industry
TELESFOR supplies compact and foamed PP films for the insulation, separation and bonding of
telecommunications, power and signal cables.
Insulation jointing papers
For paper-insulated earth cables, we supply punched parts made of special insulation paper. This
enables cost-effective repair.
Relief elements made from extruded and CNC-milled GRP profiles
In our production, we manufacture and CNC-mill strain relief elements from extruded GRP (glass fibre plastic) profiles to relieve tensile forces.
